MOTHER’S DAY EVENTS

SAVE THE DATE! The Empower Mother’s Day Event will take place at Gillette Stadium and will be a day filled with fun activities, games, food – and even special guests!  The event will welcome children and young adults up through age 24 who have experienced mother loss.

At Empower, we know that Mother’s Day can be a difficult day, and perhaps the weeks leading up to the day are tough, too.  Kids are able to find some “relief from grief” and meet others who can relate to the loss.

2024 Event Recap

Brave, inspiring souls from across New England came together for Empower’s Mother’s Day Event✨  This year’s event was beyond anything that we could have ever imagined.  For the first time ever, we welcomed all children and young adults who have experienced the loss of a mother!

Gillette Stadium opened their venue and hearts to everyone at Empower and created a beautiful space for this amazing day.  Special thanks to our Hosts Tanya, Molly, and Tony for planning the most impactful Mother’s Day event yet alongside their incredible planning committee.

Kids were able to choose from a variety of activities from the Patriots Hall of Fame, to hair + nails, songwriting, Zumba, Yoga, minute-to-win-it games tournaments, lawn games, transformational collages, Q + A sessions with Empower Mentors, and much more!

We are grateful for all of our Volunteers, Facilitators, “Swag Bag” contributors, and Attendees who joined us near and far as we shared stories of loss + love and made connections that will last a lifetime❤️  And, of course, the day would not have been captured without our incredible photographers Mia Andreoli and Chris Capozzi and talented videographer Andrea Alpen!

We are in awe of everyone who gave their love, time and space to our community.  You are ALL magic💙
