Runner Spotlight: Julie

We are incredibly proud of Julie, our top Falmouth Road Race fundraiser, for her dedication and courageous effort in both training and fundraising for this 7-mile event! In Julie’s words: 

“I am so honored to be running for team empowerHER at the 2023 Falmouth Road Race. I will be running in honor of both of my parents, whom I lost when I was just 17 and 19 years old. I was so lucky to have an amazing family and support system, but to have a group like empowerHER would have been beneficial as well. Parent loss is survivable, and I am here to help prove that and give hope, strength and light to these young girls. Thank you for having me be included in such a powerful mission that is so close to my heart.”
