Mentorship Feature: Ellie and Tess

Ellie (age 9) and Tess (age 30) were matched in July 2022 and although their stories are quite different, they’ve found a deeply meaningful connection. Ellie lost her mom at age 6 to Lymphoma, while Tess lost her mom at age 26 to a heart attack. Together, they’ve built a relationship and a safe space to share their grief journeys and even celebrate death anniversaries, birthdays, and Mother’s Day by each other’s side. They like to do so many fun things every month – – crafting, baking, dog walking, shopping, and jamming out to the Jonas Brothers. They can’t wait to continue to grow together!
